Dr. Vincas Urbonas is an experienced medical oncologist with extensive clinical and research expertise in precision oncology, personalized cancer treatment, and advanced systemic therapies.
Education and Professional Background
* Residency in Medical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University.
* Master’s degree in Immunology, The University of Manchester (United Kingdom).
* Master’s thesis (2012):Effect of Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids on Human Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Line A549
* PhD in Medical Sciences, Vilnius University (2013). Dissertation: Biomarkers of Bacteremia and Sepsis During Episodes of Febrile Neutropenia in Children with Malignant Diseases.
International Experience
Dr. Urbonas worked as a Clinical Research Physician at one of the Oxford University Hospitals in the United Kingdom, he has completed professional training and clinical observerships at leading oncology centres in Vienna, Warsaw, Zurich, New York.
